What was your initial reaction to your big win?
I said 'Oh my God....oh my God! I hit the jackpot!'
How do you plan on spending your winnings?
I invested $100,000, put $20,000 in a special savings account, paid off a few bills and spent the rest on a cruise for 6 people. I also want to give money to several charities. Now I can relax for a long time knowing that I have a nice sum saved up for my retirement.
How long had you been playing before you won?
About 5 minutes...and I only had put in about $4.50!
What advice do you have for others?
Treat everyone as you would want to be treated.
What do you do for good luck?
I pray and focus on what I want, though winning the jackpot had never entered my mind.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I gamble, clean house (I like to clean!), fish, and decorate homes. I am also getting a boat soon.
What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?
A boat...just kidding! This is a hard question. I guess I would bring: a very sharp knife for cutting things and food, a supply of lighters, since I suck at starting fires and hate raw food, and finally, another person so that I would not be alone.
What is your ultimate goal in life?
To have made a difference in the world so that I would be remembered as a really good person that had influenced others in a positive way.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
I am 39 and holding! I just remarried after 15 years to a wonderful man. I have the best son in the world who has Spina Bifida. He is a very happy and well adjusted teenager.
